some fall flavor

It really is better to use fruit and vegetables when they are in season. Recently I made some apple sauce. I still haven't found the equivalent of a Granny Smith apple but it turned out OK.

Steamed Japanese pumpkin, with a green exterior, tastes pretty good. I know you can find some in the U.S. so you should give it a try.

Mmmm, I love fruits and vegetables when they are in season! Tonight we are having spaghetti squash, which is one of my favorites to steam and eat.

Your blog is wonderful. Can't wait to check in every night and see what you are up to.

And yes, I'm doing well. Really busy right now with a part time contracting job scoring SAT essays! It's not the most exciting thing to do with 4-5 hours of my day, but it is something to help keep my resume updated and to keep my mind from going totally to mush. I'll be blogging about it later ;)

Thanks for the comment!

Before I never ate vegetables like eggplant, sweet potatoes, and squash. I imagine that when I return I'll have to reconsider a lot of food.

Wow, I didn't expect that the scoring would take up that much of your time. I'm glad you found something.
